Merle has been coaching and consulting for more than 25 years. “The heroic work done by the case workers inspires me. I am deeply touched by their care and commitment. Being part of the Imagine You team and community that supports and cares for these wonderful case workers, and all those working in disaster recovery, is a place where I can best serve.” Early in her career she worked throughout Europe and the US with executives and teams focusing on team cohesion and collaborative across the organization. She did numerous process redesign and performance improvement projects using commitment-based management as the design template.
As a somatic coach, she works with the client’s soma (body) and language, assisting them to uncover unproductive habits, making a fuller range of choices and actions available to them. Besides being a Master Somatic Coach, she is also a Master Certified Coach, the highest credential level offered by the International Coaching Federation. In addition to a private practice, Merle is on the educational staff of the Strozzi Institue’s Somatic Coaching Program. She is awaiting her coach supervision credential from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. Among her personal achievements, she holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree Black Belt) in Aikido.
