Cynthia Calmenson

Cynthia served as the Executive Director of the Integrative Medical Clinic Foundation: Imagine You from 2011 to 2024. She now leads the program at the Sonoma Community Action Network.

Cynthia has a background in business, project coordination and management, product development, marketing, national and international outreach. She has extensive experience working to support individuals self-empowerment in clinical and community settings. Cynthia joined the Sonoma County COAD/ROC Long-term Recovery Collaborative shortly after the Tubbs Fire in 2017. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of the COAD's Emotional and Spiritual Care Committee, working actively to recruit members, develop an activation plan, and build member's capacity to provide compassionate listening and disaster mental health support during disasters. 

Cynthia is passionate about resource development, building collaborative relationships, and reducing duplication of effort, especially during disaster response and recovery. Cynthia was born in California and raised in Santa Cruz. She has lived and studied in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands.
